I reduced a couple of canes to practically nothing and layered them in this abstract easter egg. I love looking at the combination of chaos and order, kind of reminds me of life.

This little egg made me “happy” not because of its beauty, but because I bought some 2000 grit sandpaper to use on it and to touch the egg, all sanded, was really nice.

I made this polymer clay covered egg with the same cane as I made some time ago, just made so much of it, for whatever reason, that I have a lot to spare. I like the four open hearts, which I save as I cut them out, and used them as 3D hearts in similar positions near the top of the egg.  In retrospect I think solid red hearts might have been a better design, but this is done, so it stands.
