Big bright orange flower decorated egg was fun and easy to do. First I coated an empty chicken egg with a thin layer of pearl white polymer clay and cured it. Then I formed the orange flowers with a fondant cutter, cut the center of that large orange flower out, then filled it with a light green polymer clay cut with a small flower fondant cutter. Then I placed tiny round balls of clay in the “between” places and indented (and helped secure) the tiny decorations to the other clay.
After the final cure, I painted the spaces (the white pearl clay between the flowers) with aquathane in which I had mixed a little bit of AB glitter.
I posted this on Pinterest here, and for sale on Memory-Beads. I can create a custom egg for you, just ask: any color any size egg (even one foot tall).
